Setting Up

Installation

The install-pack is automatically processed by our Extension > Install/Update function. These files are copied onto the target site:

• WebPages/ROI360/Announcements/Data 1 Title.txt
• WebPages/ROI360/Announcements/Data 2 Body.txt
• WebPages/ROI360/Announcements/Data 3 Link Text.txt
• WebPages/ROI360/Announcements/Data 3 Link URL.txt

Please note the four “Data” files. They contain the actual information. Since they are written as simple text files, they can easily by changed manually, or, updated en masse across many sites by using our Extension > Install function. By default the installer explictly does not update these files if they already exist.

Extension Configuration

The extension needs to be enabled in order to have an effect. When enabled, it adds an option to the left-hand menu: Services > Announcements.

Note: all fields have character limits to deliberately keep announcements concise.
