Theme

The RightMarket theme contains the styling for all default pageflex front-end elements as well as adding in some basic UI elements such as title bars.

Bug Fixes

• Resolved Formfilling Lockup on Page Load - Fixed an issue where the formfilling interface became unresponsive during page load. This was caused by mobile formatting referencing an image that had not yet rendered, blocking the thread. The preview now loads without locking the UI.
• Disabled Chosen.js on Small Viewports (<768px) - Chosen.js was causing usability issues on mobile devices, including page jumps triggered by attempts to locate the hidden select element. For viewports under 768px, Chosen.js is now disabled and native dropdowns are used to ensure a stable, expected mobile experience.
• Updated Announcements Icon and Layout on Start Page - The Announcements section on the start page has been refreshed with a new icon and improved layout for better visibility and usability.
• Adjusted Thumbnail Width on Start and Template Selection Pages - Increased the width of thumbnails on both the start page and the template selection page to prevent them from appearing too narrow.
• Fixed Mobile Click Indicator on Templates Page - Corrected a z-index issue affecting the click indicator on the templates page when viewed on mobile devices, ensuring it now displays correctly.

Completed Orders Page Behavior Updated

The Completed page now correctly respects the retiring and archiving template settings.
Note: This update addresses only the first part of the issue related to re-ordering retired templates. A complete fix for the retired template behavior will follow in a future update.

Improvements

Enhanced Forgot Password Notification

When a user initiates the Forgot Password process, the system now displays a clearer confirmation message indicating that a password-reset email has been sent.

Preview Button Styling Updated

The Preview button on the design page has been updated to a blue style for better visibility and consistency.

Refined Hover Styles for Action Buttons

All action buttons within the design page have improved hover states, offering clearer visual feedback and a more polished user experience.

Template names must now meet validation rules before saving: empty names, overly long names, and special characters are not allowed. The Save button is disabled until a valid name is entered, and a validation message provides clear guidance on any issues.

Bug Fixes

- Resolved two persistent issues in the renaming of a product in the design page, there is no longer any bouncing of the input field, and you can no longer save with empty names.

Updates

Creation of New UI navigation components using Vue.js.

New left navigation displaying on the left side of the screen, incorporating reusable link, button and expansion panel components. A collapse button which toggles collapsed or full size menu. Drafts & Completed links moved into ‘My designs’ expansion panel. History renamed as completed. Links to to help and learn moved into left navigation.

Search widget implemented in the top navigation. Popper wrapper to attach search results to the bottom of search input with links to templates and full search results.

New notification menu with updated styling and notification titles.

Library renamed to ‘My images’.

Buttons and links have been updated to include the option of an icon either side of a label, there are visual indicators for all active, hover and focus states.

The left navigation has a CSS transition when it collapses or grows, transitioning all menu items to hide or show the labels. When collapsed each menu item has a helpful corresponding tooltip triggered by hover. Where the My designs has an expanded tooltip menu.

All pages are set to grow and shrink in relation to the state of the collapsed left nav, giving the user a nicer full screen experience.

The Search widget has an easily navigable experience displaying multiple templates at any one moment, with nice visual indicators when any template is hovered or focused.

We have improved the accessibility standards in line with the WCAG 2.2 to an A grade.
This update includes:

• Making icons, links & buttons tabbable.
• Making buttons and anchors functional via keyboard inputs.
• Clear focus indicators around focussed elements.
• Reordered-elements so tabbing is logical through page.
• Added labels & descriptions to elements for improved usability on screedreaders.

For specific pages:

• The navigation bar has improved usability with all links now labelled with functionality.
• Templates and their images on the catalog page are now titled.
• On the Drafts/History/Print Basket pages, all buttons are now focussable, with visual indicators and functional with keyboard inputs.
• On the Approvals page, all elements are functional via keyboard inputs and relevant buttons functional. Approvals modal elements are all keyboard accessible, all checkboxes, arrows and confirm/cancel buttons can be focussed, show visual indicators and functional via keyboard input.
• All Library page elements including buttons, filters, checkboxes, image assets and action buttons are now focussable via keyboard and have are operative with keyboard use.

New features

• In-app product updates (via Beamer) – A new link has been added to the Profile dropdown in the navigation bar for “Product updates”. This opens up a sidebar containing a list of features coming soon.

Bug fixes

• Breadcrumbs – the first link within the category breadcrumbs was previously linking to the homepage instead of the top level category.
• Logo size – the size of the company logo and “powered by RightMarket” logo has been corrected. These were appearing larger than expected due to increased the width of the page in the previous theme update.
• Customise page – the border around the bitmap preview has been removed and a background colour has been added to this page. This fixes issues regarding unwanted white space around bitmap previews for all static templates and some variable templates.
• Customise page – grey validation icons have been added to fields with validation that haven’t been clicked. This is to avoid a unnecessary red warnings being shown to the user when they first load into a template.
• Date picker – the width of this field has been increased to avoid longer format dates being cut off.
• Login page – page has been styled for occurrences where self-registration needs to be disabled. (preparation for the release of Registration extension).
• Text editor validation – the validation icon warning was appearing in an incorrect location on the page.
• Reset password page – labels have been added to the “New password” and “Confirm new password” fields, previously it was unclear what these fields were.
• Checkout page – validation message styling was appearing incorrectly.
• Checkout page – page has been styled for rare occurrences where the address books feature needs to be turned off.

• Reordering – the “recreate designs” button in the order history has been reinstated along with updates to the “Document Workflow” and “Variable Output Jobs” extensions. This button was disabled in a previous release of the theme due to inconsistent behaviour.
• Checkout – the checkout page has been redesigned to make the Delivery and Billing sections clearer and always visible.

• Responsive pop up – A note which recommends users to use desktop when using a smaller device/screen – this pop up is now closable.
• Login page RM logo – A link has been applied to the “powered by rightmarket” logo on the login page which goes direct to our website.
• Multiline text fields – Heights of these fields have been adjusted so the initial placeholder text doesn’t overflow the field.
• Validation – A validation icon has been added to all fields which have it applied as this wasn’t clear to users which fields needed to be filled in.
• Save button – Text within the save icon when clicked has been removed and a tooltip has been added for accessibility.
• Disabled button bug – A fix was applied to the disabled “Download”, “Submit for Approval” and “Place order” buttons which previously made these clickable, allowing users to bypass validation.
• Quantity field in print basket – This option has been converted to read-only as the editable option isn’t compatible with our current extensions/workflow.
• Table headers – Column headers have been added to the print basket, drafts, history and approvals pages.
• Terminology/strings – All references to shipping have been changed to delivery, all references to items/documents etc have been changed to designs.
• Privacy policy – The link in the footer now goes directly to the privacy policy.
